** Ashtead Spring Clean on 28th March has been CANCELLED **
Road Stewards have been asked to not collect subs until the present crisis has abated. Anyone wanting to pay their subs can do so online via Bank Transfer. Details are as follows:-
Account: Ashtead Residents' Association (or ARA)
Sort Code: 30-93-08
Account Number: 00750893
Reference: The payment reference is important - your name won’t suffice- and will allow ARA to correctly identify the payee, so please use your House No/Name and the second part of your Postcode, for example ‘Thistledome 2ES’ or '6A 1AR'.
Standing Orders should ideally be dated 1st February, so please request an immediate payment and then annually w.e.f. 1/2/2020
Thank you for your continued support.
Closing Date for submissions is 23rd March - Don't delay write in or submit your questionnaire now.
Mole Valley District Council - Draft Local Plan
To view the Local Plan document please click the following link: Draft Local Plan. It will help you to have the Local Plan available to look at as you go through the Consultation. You can view the sites proposed in Ashtead and North Leatherhead by following this link. Be very aware that the areas shown as Green Belt are incorrect and very misleading. For example the area shown as Ermyn Way fields shows only 50% as being Green Belt. In fact the whole of the site is Green Belt. Similarly the Barnett Wood Lane site. Don't be fooled into thinking the non-identified part is brownfield or already developed in some way.
Evidence documents that support the Plan are available via this link.
You can respond to the Consultation online by clicking the following link: Consultation. It is vital that each resident with concerns responds individually quoting their specific reason for objecting to the proposals. Just saying "We object" will be ignored.
All responses MUST include a Post Code for verification.
The online Consultation document does not allow you to save your work and return to it later so you need to thoroughly prepare your responses before starting the survey – this Step by Step guide to how it works will help you to know what to expect – follow this link.
You can also complete a paper copy of the consultation as a PDF document which is available to download via this link. You can also download a copy as a Microsoft Word document (.docx) via this link. Paper copies are also available at Ashtead Library.
You can also send MVDC a response by email or letter.
See the letter written on behalf of all Ashtead Mole Valley Local Councillors to Boris Johnson, plus an unpublished letter to the Leatherhead Advertiser by James Friend, Conservative Councillor for Westcott.
THE CONSULTATION WILL RUN UNTIL 23RD MARCH 2020
