The Bridge Club warmly invite you to play bridge with them face-to-face at 7:15pm each Monday, and each Friday, at the Institute in Leatherhead KT22 8AH. To ensure that we are given an appropriate room or rooms with the required number of tables, we ask you to book at least a day in advance by emailing Lyn Palmer at lyn40@hotmail.co.uk or by telephoning her on 01737 479886. Shirley Preuveneers (telephone 01372-372541, email scpreuveneers@gmail.com) may be able to help you to find a partner. We ask all members to pay table money by contactless card. Please bring face masks, to wear if someone asks you to do so. We suggest that you use the Swan Centre multi-storey parking, which is free in the evenings and is only 300 yards from the Institute; there are two Disabled spaces in front of the Institute.

Every Tuesday - Ashtead Running Group was formed in 2004 and has been exploring the paths and byways of Ashtead and the surrounding countryside ever since. The small and friendly group meets at the front Woodman Pub every Tuesday at 7.30, running at around 8-minute per mile pace.
The Arts Society Ashtead meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall. Informative and entertaining talks (10.30 -11.30) showcase the whole spectrum of the fine, visual and performing arts. We also arrange up to four visits to places of interest, Cultural Tours, and a Special Interest Morning in August. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. Most 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, the Leatherhead and District Lions Club meet. Usually, the 2nd Tuesday is a business meeting and the 4th Tuesday is a social meeting usually with a meal. On the last Tuesday of every month, the Police hold a surgery for local residents in Ashtead at St George's Centre, Barnett Wood Lane from 10am until 11am.

North Leatherhead Bridge Club. Thursday from 1pm to 3pm. A friendly group that meets weekly at The Old Schoolhouse Cafe, Kingston Road, Leatherhead. All are welcome to join and learn the game with an emphasis on getting out and having an enjoyable afternoon. No previous bridge experience necessary. St Michael’s Ashtead, Soup Lunch, every first Friday of the month, except a Bank Holiday. From 12 noon to 13.30 a selection of homemade soups, bread, desserts, tea/coffee are served in the Church Hall, all for a cash donation of £6. 2nd Friday of each month - Ashtead Monthly Friday Market, Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall. Please come to our monthly Ashtead Friday Market at APMH from 9am - 12.30pm (2nd Friday of the month - not August): Lots of lovely stalls, including homemade crafts, gifts, jewellery, health and beauty, cards, home made cakes & preserves, haberdashery etc. The running of the market has now been taken over by The Alzheimer's Society.
