Ashtead Rotary
The Rotary Club of Ashtead was chartered 20th February 1981. We are a dynamic club of approximately 20 members comprised of individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. Visiting Rotarians are assured of a warm welcome. We are actively looking to recruit new members. If you are interested in Rotary, we would be delighted to welcome you to one or more of our meetings so that you can get to know us a little better before considering membership.
Our club normally meets every Thursday evening at The Cock Inn, Headley; 7.30pm for 8pm start. If you would like to visit us as a guest, whether a Rotarian or not, please visit the web site via the link below and send us a message via the enquiry form. We also meet occasionally at the Leg of Mutton and Cauliflower pub in Ashtead, where visitors are free to drop in to meet our members!
We often have a speaker at our meetings, addressing a wide variety of topics and we organise club visits to local events and attractions. Approximately every six weeks we will have a members only business meeting at which we review the finances and current activities of the club and plan future events.
The concept of service is an integral part of the club's activities and the Rotary motto "Service above Self" embodies the reason why our members have joined Rotary. Fun and fellowship however play an important role: we are members of Rotary because we enjoy being members of Rotary.
Thanks to the ongoing support of the businesses and residents of Ashtead, our club is able, each year, to help, both with time and money, a wide variety of local and international charities and community organisations. If you wish to know more about our activities please browse through the rest of our website.
