Network Rail will be undertaking the usual maintenance closures of the Level Crossing from 7th May until 9th May. The closures will be overnight to minimise disruption to residents and will be from 12.30am until 5am.

On this occasion the Residents' Association had not been warned of the closures and have been unable to verify that the Crossing will be available for the emergency services, nor that the Station Car Park will be made available for residents going on early morning flights or on shift work.

We have made urgent requests to Network Rail and Surrey County Council seeking reassurance on these points and it has now been confirmed that access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. We still await confirmation re the car park use.
