Volunteering in the Ashtead area

Volunteering

VOLUNTEERING……..It’s a Win, Win Situation

It’s an undisputed fact that volunteering does make a difference to our communities and also to the individuals that give their time to supporting organisations, projects and other people.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteering then feel free to come and see us at any of our three local volunteer centres. We are delighted when visitors just pop in when they are passing, but a telephone call beforehand guarantees that an interviewer will be there. If you can not make our opening hours then we will endeavour to book you an out of hour’s appointment at a convenient time. Many of our interviewers are volunteers themselves so understand what it is like to start out initially and find the right role.

You can also view all of our opportunities on http://www.do-it.org.uk. It’s a great way to start your search and will show you a whole range of different opportunities within a chosen radius of where you live .However do pop in and see us if you can. We often find that a quick informal chat will ensure that we find you the right role that will suit all your needs, as well as the organisations.

We look forward to hearing from you.
