Farm Lane, Ashtead - Temporary Closure

The Residents Association has been advised that Surrey Highways are to undertake work on various roads in Surrey, one of which will be Farm Lane. The section to be worked on is that which extends from its junction with A24 Epsom Road to its junction with D2337 Pleasure Pit Road. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via A24 Epsom Road, D2628 Park Lane and C56 Farm Lane.

This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable highway surface treatments, resurfacing, maintenance and/or improvement works on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 14 November 2020. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and; dismounted cyclists and equestrians at all times. Access for emergency vehicles, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
