It is not unusual to feel you need help with a problem.
Even with support from family or friends, you may feel they are just too close to help or understand you.
Maybe you just don’t ever really feel heard.
If so, we can help you.
Helplines help people take those first steps to finding the support they need.
At FamilyLine we are here to listen to you supportively without judging you. By helping you look at the options available, we hope will enable you, where possible, to try and find a solution.
Our team of Helpline Volunteers are all selected and trained to the highest standards. They will listen to you empathetically and non-judgementally and will do their best to help you.
All helpline volunteers receive on-going training to help them to understand the worries and concerns of family members whatever their age or sex.
CAN YOU HELP?
FamilyLine Surrey's survival depends on its volunteers.
Our volunteers are involved in a wide range of activities; the most important of which is responding to callers to the helpline.
In this instance full training is given beforehand in order to provide a high quality listening and support service.
