Rev Richard Jones, Rector, said “It’s wonderful to be able to start to reopen our buildings, on a gradual basis, to meet together physically again. We regularly review government and Church of England guidance as it emerges and our plans going forward will develop in line with this. During lockdown we have developed a varied offline and online ministry, including two weekly online Sunday services; dedicated provision for children, youth and young families; daily thoughts and reflections - which will continue over the summer. These are broadcast through our SGSG Ashtead YouTube channel and at sgsgashtead.org.uk/sundays. We also continue to offer a wide ranging ‘offline’ ministry, particularly to those isolated and shielding, and will continue to serve our community as best we can going forward”.
