The Channel Sailing Club is an Ashtead-based club for sailors of all abilities. And you don't have to own a boat to be a member.
We aim to give experience at sea and help provide a meeting point for people who either love sailing or want to learn.
Many of our 170 members have gained RYA qualifications at the club, taught by our accredited instructors. Low cost membership of just £30 a year is open to all those interested in sailing and navigation.
We bring together skippers and crew for exciting racing and leisurely cruising events along the south coast, principally in the Solent. Relaxed and friendly social activities take place in our clubhouse on Wednesdays from 8.30pm and we also run a number of evening events including informal dinners, talks and a summer BBQ.
We've just moved to our new clubhouse at Ashtead Cricket Club, Woodfield Lane, Ashtead, Surrey KT21 2BJ. We will be meeting there on Wednesday evenings from the 8th March 2017 from 8:30pm.
We are now recruiting new members who are 18 years or over, with any level of sailing experience.
Come along to see why we are so successful!
