Saturday 17th November 2018 - Members of Ashtead Flower Arrangement Group will be taking part in "Joyful and Triumphant" a Christmas Exhibition of Floral Art at Epsom Downs Racecourse, Open 10.00am -5.00pm Entrance £5.00. It should be a spectacular event, well worth a visit.

Monday 19th November 2018 - Mike King will talk to Ashtead Probus on the Sacred & Ancient Art of Bodging at its regular monthly luncheon. Prospective members welcome. The event starts at 12.30pm at Tyrells Wood Gold Club, finishing around 3.15pm. Cost pp is £23 to include a three course lunch and the talk. Saturday 1st December 2018 - Ashtead Choral Society. “Celebrate” – 7.30pm St Martin’s Church, Church Street, Epsom. Ashtead Choral Society present a contemporary Christmas concert. The principle pieces of music are Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, & Karl Jenkins’ “Celebration of Christmas”. Ashtead Choral are proud to be supporting Combat Stress at this concert. £16 reserved, £14 unreserved, Free for under 21s in unreserved seats.

Sunday 15th June 2019 - Ashtead Choral Society. “Transatlantic Melodies” – 7.30, St George’s Church, Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead. A summer medley of Gerswin, Berlin and the lighter music of the mid century. £14, no reserves, under 21s free.

REGULAR EVENTS

 Ashtead Choral Society's rehearsals take place at the APMH every Monday night between September and June from 8-10pm. This includes a coffee/tea break and a chance to mingle. 1st Saturday of every month - Ashtead Independent Councillors operate a drop-in session at the Scout Hut in Woodfield. Sessions commence at 12 noon.

3rd Monday of every month - The Probus Club of Ashtead is the local club for retired or semi-retired rofessional and business men looking for a good lunch, interesting talks and congenial company. We also arrange ad hoc pub lunches, visits and informal walks. New members are always welcome. We meet regulalrly at Tyrells Wood Golf Club. Upcoming and recent talks are listed on our website. The Arts Society AshteadThe Arts Society Ashtead meets every third Tuesday of the month (except August). On the last Tuesday of every month, the Police hold a surgery for local residents in Ashtead at St George's Centre, Barnett Wood Lane from 10am until 11am.

Thursday weekly at the APMH - Ashtead Over 60's Lunch Club meets in the Ralli Room for a freshly prepared lunch. Doors open at 10.30 for tea and biscuits. Lunch is served at 12.30 and consists of a piping hot main course and hot or cold pudding with custard (or ice cream ) if you like it. A cup of tea is then served for those who wish to sit around and chat for a little longer.

1st Friday of each month - Soup lunch held at St Michael's Church Hall, the Marld, Ashtead. Homemade soup, bread and pudding served with tea & coffee between 12 noon and 1.30pm, all for £5 in aid of Pricess Alice Hospice, CAFOD and BESOM.

2nd Friday of each month - Village Market, Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall, Woodfield Lane, KT21 2BE. 9.00am to 12.30pm except Christmas special in November which is 9am to 3pm. No market in August.
January 12th; February 9th; March 9th; April 13th; May 11th; June 8th; July 13th; September 14th; October 12th; November 9th (9 - 3pm); December 7th. Gifts,plants,cards,craftedgoods,clothes,cakes,books,haberdashery,jewellery, collectables and much more.

1st Friday quarterly starting 1st March 2018. The Friends of the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall will be holding their usual quarterly dinners at the Hall. As usual the timing will be 6.30 for 7.00 p.m. at a cost of £22 for each three course dinner. This will, in each case, be followed by an entertainment, the details of which will be advised nearer each date.
