2nd Friday of each month - Dec 8th Village Market, Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall, Woodfield Lane, KT21 2BE. 9.00am to 12.30pm (December 8th until 3pm) Free admission. Gifts,plants,cards,crafted goods,clothes,cakes,books,haberdashery,jewellery, collectables and much more.

There is free parking on Saturday 2nd, 9th and 16th Dec from noon in all Ashtead car parks- in fact in all Mole Valley car parks.

Friday 1st December 2017 - St George's Christian Centre - Friday Know How... Christmas Craft 10.30am to 12pm. Lunches served from 12pm. Local artist Abi Jones will be singing Christmas Songs from 12.30pm to 1pm.

Saturday 2nd December 2017 - 10am, - Ashtead Choral Society Carols “Coffee & Carols for Charity”. Come & sing along with your favorite Christmas Carols with Ashtead Choral Society. All profits to Charity. There will be refreshments available to buy, along with those little Christmas extras on a Festive Stall. Venue is the Peace Memorial Hall, Woodfield Lane. Tuesday 5th December 2017 - Ashtead Village Christmas shopping evening - from 4pm to 8pm. Free parking in Ashtead Car Parks from 12 noon.

Wednesday to Sunday 6th to 10th December 2017 - Christmas Tree Festival at St. George's Church. Go to for daily opening times. Look out for the Residents' Association's tree designed by our own Janet Webber.

Thursday 7th December 2017 - Chairman’s Charity Christmas Concert, Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall @ 7.00pm to 10pm. The Chairman of Mole Valley District Council, Councillor Simon Ling, invites you to join him in celebrating Christmas with an exciting evening of entertainment and carols! Performances from West Ashtead Primary School, Therfield School, Soundbytes, The Downsmen and Natural Voices. Tickets £9. Proceeds to Mid Surrey Dementia Care Trust (The Conservatory Club)and The Meeting Room drop-in centre. Complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies for all guests and a pay bar for those who want something stronger..

Friday 8th December 2017 - Come and hear Soundbytes sing songs in 4-part harmony. 8pm at Christ Church UR, Epsom Road, Leatherhead, KT22 8ST. Doors open 7:30pm. Concert lasts approx. 1 hr. Retiring collection to Age Concern Epsom and Ewell.

We are looking for local musicians and performance Groups to help us in this celebration - to also promote their talents and skills to a large audience.  Ashtead Choral Society's rehearsals take place at the APMH every Monday night between September and June from 8-10pm. This includes a coffee/tea break and a chance to mingle. 1st Saturday of every month - Ashtead Independent Councillors operate a drop-in session at the Scout Hut in Woodfield. Sessions commence at 12 noon.

On the last Tuesday of every month, the Police hold a surgery for local residents in Ashtead at St George's Centre, Barnett Wood Lane from 10am until 11am.

1st Wednesday of the month at the APMH - Ashtead Flower Arrangement Group. 1.45pm - 4.30pm. Visitors Welcome. Contact Di on 279501.

Thursday weekly at the APMH - Ashtead Over 60's Lunch Club meets in the Ralli Room for a freshly prepared lunch. Doors open at 10.30 for tea and biscuits. Lunch is served at 12.30 and consists of a piping hot main course and hot or cold pudding with custard (or ice cream ) if you like it. A cup of tea is then served for those who wish to sit around and chat for a little longer.

1st Friday of each month - Soup lunch held at St Michael's Church Hall, the Marld, Ashtead. Homemade soup, bread and pudding served with tea & coffee between 12 noon and 1.30pm, all for £5 in aid of Pricess Alice Hospice, CAFOD and BESOM.
