Tuesday 17th September 2019 - The Arts Society meets, Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall 9:30am. The speaker will be Barbara Askew, BA(Hons) Dip Ed MITG her subject, Windsor: A Castle Restored; the fire of 1992 and the restoration. Wednesday 9th October 2019 - Ashtead Rotary Club is hosting a speaker evening in October "Elephants for Africa and Africans for Elephants". We are very pleased to welcome award-winning behavioural ecologist, Dr Kate Evans, who founded the charity Elephants for Africa. She will be speaking to us not only about the conservation of large mammals in Botswana but also about the challenges of doing this in a challenging human environment and how animal conservation can be carried out to help benefit the local communities. The event is open to everyone.

Saturday 2nd November 2019 - St Martins Church Epsom, Ashtead Choral Society will perform baroque music: the majestic Zadok the Priest, written for George II’s Coronation by Handel; Vivaldi’s spectacular Gloria, a mirror of Venice’s eighteenth century zenith; and Hummel’s Mass in B flat, completing a tour through masters of baroque.

3rd Monday of every month - The Probus Club of Ashtead is the local club for retired or semi-retired rofessional and business men looking for a good lunch, interesting talks and congenial company. Every Tuesday - Ashtead Running Group was formed in 2004 and has been exploring the paths and byways of Ashtead and the surrounding countryside ever since. The small and friendly group meets at the front Woodman Pub every Tuesday at 7.30, running at around 8-minute per mile pace..

The Arts Society Ashtead meets every third Tuesday of the month (except August) in the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall. Doors open at 9.30 for coffee. On the last Tuesday of every month, the Police hold a surgery for local residents in Ashtead at St George's Centre, Barnett Wood Lane from 10am until 11am.

Thursday weekly at the APMH - Ashtead Over 60's Lunch Club meets in the Ralli Room for a freshly prepared lunch. Doors open at 10.30 for tea and biscuits. Lunch is served at 12.30 and consists of a piping hot main course and hot or cold pudding with custard (or ice cream ) if you like it. A cup of tea is then served for those who wish to sit around and chat for a little longer.

1st Friday of each month - Soup lunch held at St Michael's Church Hall, the Marld, Ashtead. Homemade soup, bread and pudding served with tea & coffee between 12 noon and 1.30pm, all for £5 in aid of Pricess Alice Hospice, CAFOD and BESOM.

2nd Friday of each month - Village Market, Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall, Woodfield Lane, KT21 2BE. 9.00am to 12.30pm except Christmas special in November which is 9am to 3pm. No market in August.
January 11th, February 8th, March 8th, April 12th, May 10th, June 14th, July 12th, September 13th, October 11th, November 8th (Christmas Special), December 13th. Gifts,plants,cards,craftedgoods,clothes,cakes,books,haberdashery,jewellery, collectables and much more.

1st Friday quarterly starting 1st March 2018. The Friends of the Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall will be holding their usual quarterly dinners at the Hall. As usual the timing will be 6.30 for 7.00 p.m. at a cost of £22 for each three course dinner. This will, in each case, be followed by an entertainment, the details of which will be advised nearer each date.
